I am looking for a james m smith a native american or a 1/2 NATIVE AMERICAN,his father and brother came with him to Mt Pleasant , marshall county MS,from Alabama ,between 1870 and 1880,His dad was named James,he was born in Georgia, and his brother (maybe named Henry ) and jamesWERE BORN in ALABAMA.The brother went to arkansas.He may have lived with a S.Crumb family after his dad died before 1880.HE MARRIED A ELEVA L ARMOUR in 1881. Three sons James f smith married Effie Gardner (Daughter of Dudley Gardner And Cora Kelly Gardner),leeland dixon smith,and Jimmy smith was his other two sons.james m smith died in 1923. peggy
