Trying to locate Alexander McCaughtry, b abt 1834 in Pennsylvania. In California in 1861 where he enlisted with Co. C, 1st Regt. Inf., Calif. Vols during the Civil War in AZ and NM. In 1864 he re-enlisted with Co. C, 1st Cavalry, CA Vols. Discharged in San Francisco 31 December 1866. Lost track of him. Would like any info on him and parents. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
