I am looking for information on the father of George Washington Myler of Austin, Tx, who is also believe to be named George Washington. George of Austin was living in Roger Mills, Berlin Twnshp, OK, in 1900, and on that census the information listed was that he was born in Iowa, and his father and mother were born in Indiana. Rumor is that children of the Austin family were named after the children of the senior George Washington Myler (Indiana): some of the children's names were Charles, Henry, Annie Laurie (this name is believe to be named after twins: Annie and Laura Ford of the Ford automobile family?), Thomas, Mabel, Myrtle, Bell, Sylvia, and of course George. George of Austin left home at the age of 14 supposedly because he did not like his step-mother, who was belived to be a sister of Ford, the auto-giant.
