I am a white female born 08-27-1971. My sister (four years older) and I were placed into foster care when I was an infant due to neglect issues.I am told that child welfare made several efforts to educate my parents and provide support to them so that my sister and I could remain in the home but the efforts failed. I am searching for my biological mother. I am told that her maiden name is Preston, her married name would have been Lavier. She would now be in her 50's and I believe she would have had red hair and I am told that she is short in stature. She herself was a foster child and as a young adult/teenager, she had spent some time in the now closed Norwich State Hospital for psychiatric problems. She was married to my father who at the time of my birth was a truck driver. I am told that she is somewhere around New London, Ct possibly working at a local pharmacy. Hoping to have a face to face conversation, wanting to know more about family history from her side.
