Looking for biological parents, siblings, any biological family members. A "Patricia Jones" said to be my mother and left Alaska to go to Wash. DC to have me at George Washington Univ hsp by Dr. Roger Whitehead on Feb 23, 1956, giving me up for adoption immediately (to Roy C. and Bertha G Kesler of Glass Manor, MD). I believe she then traveled to San Francisco, CA to visit a sister, before returning to Alaska. She was in her early 20' at time of my birth and worked as a federal agency secretary in Washington DC at the time of my birth--possibly transferred there just to give birth to me. My "closed" adoption was handled by atty Ralph E. Powers of Upper Marlboro, MD (deceased years ago); no adoption agency involved. My father was rumored to be a judge in Alaska, but few records exist from 1955 as AK did not achieve statehood until 1959. My mother was said to be 50% Alaskan native (Indian), and my DNA testing proves Native American heritage. Please help me find my family!
