Searching John Hardin found in henderson county north carolina census 1850, 1860, 1870 in household had a son John Smith Hardin born 1836 and married Martha Hollingsworth. This John Smith Hardin is my husband's ggg-grandfather. He was in civil war and died 1863 in Wilson cty. NC from disease. Need info on his father (john hardin) born around 1814 found in same household Rebeck Evans Hardin who was married to Martin Hardin.
