Searching for information on death of and burial site of my G Grandmother RACHEL (PEDEN) BROWN, wife of JOHN BROWN b. 1801 in PA. RACHEL was shown in the 1860 US Census in Vermillion Co. Indiana. Her spouse JOHN BROWN and part of their children moved to Osage TWP, Fontana,Miami Co. KS. in the next few years. Did she die in Indiana or after moving to KS? Can find no information in either state. JOHN BROWN died Jan. 30, 1877 and is buried in the FONTANA CEMEMTERY in Miami Co. KS. John's wife RACHEL is not to be found. There is a Rachel Brown in the Co but she is buried beside her husband JACOB BROWN. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
