Catherine Bender married Jacob George on May 25, 1819 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. According to later census records and her death record, she was born about 1800. I am looking for her parents. There is an erronious answer floating around the web that she is the daughter of George and Rosanna ? That was a different Catherine. I speculate that she was the Catherine born 8/8/1877 to John B. Bender and and Barbara Koch (aka Cook.) However, that Catherine's birthdate is a little too far off from the age that my Catherine used during her life. I also do not have the parents of her husband Jacob George who became a Brethren preacher. I speculate that Jacob's father may have been a Martin George who died in Cumberland about 1814. CAtherine and Jacob are both burried in Horton, Iowa. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
