Looking for any information about a single woman, Martha Aguste Doering, born about 1846; worked as a domestic servant. Got pregnant; delivered a boy, whom she named Alfred Bernhard Doering,(b.10 Mar 1885 and d.13 Jan 1965), and left him with his father, Bernhard Sebastian. Bernhard Sebastian later married someone named Ida. Alfred Bernhard was possibly born in Ruppers grun wer dau, German/Prussia. He grew up in Gera, E. Germany. Alfred came to American on the Kronprinzessin Cecilie, leaving Hamburg, Germany and arriving New York April 1, 1907, age 22years. He had hired on as part of the crew - fireman. He had gotten sick when they arrived, and did not return to Germany; his manifest states "add 1 alien". Manifest also states he was married, but there is no verification, although he did marry a Viola King when he was 45 years old.
