I am seeking information about Matilda P. Spencer born 1825 in Herkimer County, New York. What were the names of her parents? She married William Carkey in 1844. Two children, Jerome Carkey and Franklin Carkey were born in New York State but the family proceeded to move to Aztalan, Jefferson County, Wisc.; Pawnee City, Nebraska Terr; Rock Creek, Nemaha, Kansas and Iowa, Rooks County, Kansas. Other children were William A., Edwin, Huldy, Emma, Mina, and Riley. Matilda P.(Spencer) Carkey died in Rooks County,Kansas April 22, 1891.
