My search is for my great-great grandfather from my Dad's father's mother's father. Some say his name was James A. BEAN, others say John BEAN, while postings show, A.W. BEAN (B) abt 1835 Alabama. He (m) Mary Elizabeth TERRELL (b)abt 1835-9 had to have (m) 1856/7, due to dau, Martha Ann BEAN was (b) 8 June 1858 in Rapides Parish, La., sister Louisiana (b) 1859 in Rapides Parish, La & brother James Asbury BEAN (b) 24 Dec 1862 in La. Louisiana (d) 1862/4 during 1 of the Civil War battles near their home that could have been near Montgomery, La. James/John/AW (d) from his war wounds 1862-4 never held his son. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
