I am iso my birth mother/father and siblings. I was born 11/22/73 (Thanksgiving Day) @ Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. My birth mother used Children and Family Services of Albany and Rensselaer Dept of Social Services to handle the adoption. My birth name was Melissa and I spent a month in the hospital for complications. My birth mother had no prenatal care. I weighed 5 lb 7 oz. My birth mother was 26 when I was born. She graduated from high school and attended college for 2 yrs. She is African American and has a medium complexion. She was 5'2 and weighed 105 pounds. She was somewhat athletic. She wore glasses since the 5th grade. She possible graduated from Troy High School in Troy, NY or Rensselaer High School, Rensselaer, NY between 1964-66. At the time of my birth she have previously gave birth to a 4 yr old. I am not sure if this child was adopted or not. Birth mother worked as either a waitress or x-ray technician. She had at least one sister. Birth mother and father had a common law marriage. Although were not living together at time of adoption. Birth father was 25 at the time of my birth. He attended college for at least 2 years. He most likely graduated at Troy High School, Troy, NY or Rensselaer High School, Rensselaer, NY. He would have graduated between 1965-1967. He worked as a business manager. He is African American with a dark complexion. He has big eyes and a great singing voice. He wore reading glasses. He was athletic, playing basketball and baseball. He is 6'1 and 180 lbs. He had brothers and sisters. The attorney for adoptive parents was Marcus Filley, Esq, Troy, NY. Adoption took place in Hudson, NY family court (Columbia County) in December 1974.
