I am trying to find any information about my paternal grandmother Mary Delehanty born Nov 9, 1884 in Ireland (town unknown) Mary came to the United States in 1907 (approx). She married Arthur Mason. They lived in Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan and had six children - Mary (aka Dorothy Holzka), Barbara Werner, Richard (died at age 5, buried in Mt. Olivet with Mary and Arthur), Theodore. I do not know if Mary had siblings. She spoke Gaelic and was a wonderful cook and I believe she actually worked as a cook in NYC. Mary's husband Arthur was injured and confined to the house and they lived in the Bronx in the 1940s. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
