Stephen PHAIR was born Canterbury 1884. He moved to Hawkes Bay with his parents & some of his Siblings, early 1900's. Stephen was the Father of a Daughter, for whom he paid child support, however, when the Mother ( name unknown to me ), died, the Step Father took the child away, changed her name, & the Phair family had no more contact. Apparently this upset all those who had previously spent a lot of time with her. She was the only child of Stephen. The child would have been born between about 1906 & 1930 , said to be Havelock Nth., or, the Mother came from Havelock Nth. Who was she ? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
