Query Text: |
I am seeking my mom's half sister. Birthmother's name is Harlene Lacher (may have used the last name Nelson, also). She gave birth to a baby girl either around Nov 1969 to Jan 1970 or Nov 1970 to Jan 1971 in Seattle, Wa. Hospital might have been Virginia Mason, but not sure. Harlene was 30/31 yrs old at the time, and has blond hair and blue eyes. She had three other children at the time, whom she raised. My grandmother told my mom that she opted to have her info available if the lost sibling ever decided to search. She also said that the baby was named Louise by the adoptive parents. I know the first statement was a lie, probably told to make my mom feel better. The name given may or may not be true. Based off what I was told, my grandfather was not the fourth born child's father. Harlene, my grandmother, refuses to share any info and I am going based off of what my mom remembers. She claims it was 1969/1970, but then states she was in the 6th grade when it happened, so this would put the time frame around 1970/1971. My mom clearly remembers my grandmother being 4 to 5 months pregnant in Aug, so the birthmonths are a guesstimate. My mom really wants to find her sister, but due to my grandmother's refusal and our state's backwards "birthparent privacy" laws, we can get nowhere. Hoping someone out there is her and she is looking for her birthfamily. We are here and we want to meet you!!!!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
