I am seeking genealogical and any other information on Levi W. Risley born in 1828 in Clayton, Jefferson County, New York. The son of Edwin and Anna McClure Risley. Levi Risley married Mary Reynolds born 1840 in Ohio. Levi and Mary were married April 13, 1858 in Natchez Adams County, Mississippi.The parents of Mary Reynolds were Sheppard Reynolds and Mary Campbell Smith/Reynolds. Levi and Mary Risley and Mary's parents moved to Louisiana around 1860.Levi joined the Military Service in Louisiana at Camp Moore in 1861.Being he was in the Sharp Shooters, the infantry and navy I am checking in several different States as to any information that I may find on these family members.
