Query Text:

Any birth family members. BM was from New York, worked at what is now the Trump Hyatt when she found out she was pregnant. The BF was a police officer who had been a boxer in the Navy. The BM 's first initial was E and I will update the birthday as soon as I find the paperwork. She is of Irish descent and may know that I was trying to contact her as I sent a package through the Hotel Union, etc. who had a matching birthddate and first initial. I never received the package back nor the letter that was sent with it so I have to hope that she did, in fact, receive it. She had several brothers, one of whom, was a jeweler. I was born in Tampa, FL. on 6/21/1957 at the Salvation Army Maternity Hospital and was given the name Thomas which was the BF's name. Mother returned to New York. Father also had a brother who served as an NYC Police Officer and has a sister who is described as "very short". The pregnancy was kept secret so I am not sure that the BF knew of it. I am 5'10, have fair skin, blue eyes and had very red hair until age and gray took over. A high hairline and a callick in the front from right to left. I was adopted by a family from Inverness, Florida through Catholic Social Services and the adoption was facilitated by a Ms. Martha Franco of that organization. I spoke to Ms. Franco years ago (not sure if she is still with us) but she would only give the minimum information allowed at the time. I do think that my BM retired from the Hospitality Industry in NYC due to the info I recevied from the Union there and the fact that my letter was forwarded through them to the address they had on record. Just so it is clear...I do not feel that there is a hole in my life that cannot be filled any other way than to find my biologicals but more about knowing what health issues I might be facing as I age. I have been very healthy so far in life with only a broken collarbone in my history. I had great adoptive parents, I have wonderful siblings (one brother and two sisters) and life has been good. A 25 year military career, a beautiful home in Alaska (where I still live) and a successful secondary career. Life is good but it could be better. Please, if you know anything or think that there might be a connection or the possibility of a connection please contact me. Thank you.
