i was told my great, great, granddad came to california and started another family. he was a german imagrint born around 1817 in prussia. his name was changed to john lacy when he moved to california. i found him on the 1900 census living (alone) in san leandro. on that census he lied about his age. he had a son named ed lacey. does anyone in california think they had a granddad named john lacy from prussia ? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
