Searching for Birth Parents: I was born on October 5, 1963 in Shreveport, LA (Caddo Parish)and adopted through The Volunteers of America adoption agency. My birth name was D Wayne Blossom (also know as DeWayne Blossom). My biological mother was 23 years of age and one of seven children. She was 5'3" tall and weighed 120 lbs. with olive skin, brown eyes, and dark brown hair. She grew up in a western state and was the third youngest in her family. She was a high school graduate and worked as a waitress. Her parents were both of Native American extraction (Paiute). The father was 28 years of age, about 5'10" in height, medium build, fair skin coloring, brown eyes, and dark blonde hair. My adoption date to my new parents was June 1964.
