Query Text: |
Canadians Joseph Edward King (abt. 1840-1900)and his wife Sarah Jane Beauyea (abt. 1845-1890) settled in PA somewhere in the 1865 era. They had some children already, (including Sarah b. 1860, Phellman b 1863, Mary b abt 1865) and the healthy air in PA helped them have about another 7 (Minnie, b abt. 1866, Avilda Loaine (my ggrandmother 1867-1940) Ida b 1870, Benjamin b 1874, Margaret b 1883, Maude b. abt. 1885. Joseph and Sarah and several children were listed in the 1870 PA census for Penfield, Huston, Clearfield Co. Avilda married Noah A Ross (b. Nova Scotia 1858) and had one son in Nova Scotia, then they moved to PA abt. 1886, had Malcolm, Minnie, Dole and John Hugh. They thought all that fresh PA air would lead to more children, so they moved to MA where unfortunately the air was also clean and they had Pearl in 1897, Harriet in 1900, Royal Rainsford Reginald (what about THAT handle??) in 1904 and rounded out the tribe with Florence in 1906. Any of these names sound familiar? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
