I am doing the Peter Covert and wife Susan nee Croup family line that lived in Red House Putnam Co W.V. Peter was br Sept 9 1824 in Pennsylvania Death Oct 10 1907 in Putnum Co West Virginia Susan was br in Birth Nov 15 1846 in Pennsylvania Death March 16 1921 in West Virginia Marriage Pennsylvania The Democratic Herald page 3 15 July 1868 Covert CROOP June 23 1868 By Rev J H Furitz Mr Peter Covert of Fairview tp to Miss Susan CROOP of Butler tp I have found many obits of Peter and Susan Covert's children and will share with others doing this line. Plus maiden names of wives and children of their children I am trying to prove that Peter Covert was brother to Elizabeth Campbell nee Covert Elizabeth's daughter Rachel Campbell was my G-G-G grandmother. By proving this I hope to find the parents of Elizabeth Campbell nee Covert.
