I am searchng for information regarding the Mackey's that are from Gills creek Lancaster, SC Peter Mackey( b. 1852) married Charlotte Truesdell( b. 1854)(sp) in 1876 they had 10 living children: Alexander(Alex) was one of them( my great grandfather) Goerge and Jack Mackey were the oldest boys. I think Jack married Rose( Roselle) and had several children- Bramble Mackey being one of them. Their sister Laura( d. 1941) moved to Winston Salem and Married Burl Blackmon and had 2 children. Alex married Mary Mcilwain after his death in 1915 she eventually remarried Jimmy McDowell- information would be geatly appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
