I found my entire bio family last year on adoptionregistry.com and now as looking for a long lost cousin. Jerry James Hickey was born May 28, 1943 to Nellie Bickford and my uncle Ralph Hickey in San Rafael, CA. He was born out of wedlock and Nellie married someone else approcimately 3 weeks after his birth. Uncle Ralph could not get leave from the Army in time to get back to San Rafael to marry Nellie.Her new husband,name unknown, adopted him. The grandmother refused to give Uncle Ralph any info on his whereabouts or new name. His sisters who are younger of course are still hoping but they and I have exhausted all resources including the Mormon library, ancestry.com and several other websites. Uncle Ralph passed on 5 years ago but Jerry's stepmother is still alive and also hoping. His sisters don't know I have been searching also for him. My bio family is very loving and wants him to be found so he can join the family like I did last year just before my father passed on. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
