My mom and I are looking for any information on Albert Bradley. He is my mom's Grandfather and mine great. The story goes that his father came to America. Then his wife and three children followed. It was either while they were on the ship or shortly afterwards their father was killed. His mother not knowing english. Put the children in an orphanage. But they children ran away. and my g grandfather was taken in by the Bradley's. He lived in Maryland. He took their name. All we know is that he was from Germany. We know that he choose July 4, 1888 as his birthday. His mother's name was Mary. My mom says he would not talk about his past. She was in High School before she even knew he came from Germany. I have been to the Ellis Island website and have started seaching each ship. But that will take forever with all the ships that are listed. I guess what we'd like to know is there any websites that would be more helpful? Any help will be appricated. Thank you. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
