My Father was Kalman Toth, Jr, born in St Joseph County, Michigan on Agust 31, 1924. My Grandfather was Kalman, Sr., and my Grandmother was Elsie(Bowman)Toth (Hovarter). He had a younger sister Barbara (Jorn)(Gearhart), who lives in Three Rivers. He joined the Navy at 17, he was in England some, met my Mother while visiting a Navy Buddy in Virginia and they were married a month later. He had brothers in Sturgis, Carl, Paul, Tommy and a sister Jeanie. My Dad had a beautiful voice and sang with the Great Lakes Choir as soloist in 1942. At a show he was called on stage to sing with Lawrence Welk & his orchastra. Does anyone remember him?????? We lost him two years ago, but he lives in my heart forever. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
