Is there anyone out there that knows about JAMES EGAN's life prior to marrying Jane McCannell from Pisquid, Queen's Cty, PEI, Canada in 1881? Lived in Dromore, Queen's Cty, PEI until his death in 1921. James Egan is my great grandfather who came from St. John, NB, Canada; born about 1850; married for the first time to Cynthia Ward (possibly)about 1872 at St. Ann's Church in Sackville, Westmorland Cty, NB, Canada; had a daughter, Catherine (in 1881 she was about 9 yrs of age), from this union; was widowed; episcopal religion; occupation..carpenter.
