 Information on Samuel and Elizabeth Holmes who suposably was born in County Perry Ireland, married Eliabeth,and with ten children came to Staunton,Virginia in America in 1780. I am interested in geneology of that Holmes branch prior to 1780, and those children James who married the widow Jane Aistrop in 1793, Samuel (Richmond?), John, David and Elizabeth/Betsy Holmes McClure, David Bell Holmes and his wife Nancy Holmes Holmes,Peggy Holmes, a Holmes daughter who married a Crawford, and another who married a Guthrie, the last two went to Pennsylvania.
