They moved to Lexington (Fayette County) Kentucky from Mercer County, Kentucky. Hulda is the daughter of James Parker and Georgia Spaulding of Mercer County, Kentucky. The 1920 Mercer County census lists Charley as being 38? and Hulda as being 31 years old.
