Hardin Richardson b.1857 Estill - Jennie Lizzie Graham b.1865.KY Hardin Richardson b. 17 Mar 1857 Estill Co., Kentucky married 20 Mar 1880 Madison Co KY Jennie Lizzie GRAHAM b.abt 1865. Hardin d.16Jun1943 Madison Co KY according to his KY Death Cert. Others have said without revealing sources that Jennie died and Hardin married abt 1902 Sarah Marcum b.12Feb1851 and d.09Sep1935. Sarah is definitely his wife in the 1910-1930 Census’s. Hardin had 1 known daughter Ethel Richardson b.Jul1882 d.15Dec1918 who married Hugh Henry Shephard b.9jun 1873 and d.02Jul1945. We learn from Ethel’s 1918 KY Death Cert that Hardin was her father, Jennie Grayham was her mother and Hugh Shepherd is her husband. She died from post partum hemorage so she had a child abt.15Dec1918. From 1900-1920 we learn they had children James b.1899, Katy b.abt 1901, Mary b.abt.1902 married a James Francis, George Henry b.abt 1905, Clyda b.abt.1909, Geneva b.abt.1913, Edwin and Hugh twins b.abt 1915 (said to be 21 Nov 1915) and the child b.abt.1919 from which Ethel died. Ethel & Hugh’s family has been investigated by me mostly from Census records. What became of the children is unknown to me. Hugh b.1916 lived with sister Mary in 1930. I can find none of the children except those 2 in 1930. But they are not listed in either Madison or Estill Death Certificates.
