I am looking for records of my grandmother's family in Illinois. Her father's name was George Clayton Kenney, her mother's name was Edith Wealthy Mckee Kenney. My Aunt writes what she remembers when they visited. "The oldest boys name was Clayton. Mom (Annabelle borned 1901)had to quit school (grade 3) because grandma needed her to help her with the large dairy they had (George was just a baby),I believe, grandpa had passed. They had hired help living in their own houses on the dairy farm. I don't know too much about Clayton but George married Jen and they had many children." This story would place George Clayton Kenney's death around 1909-1910 but I have not had any luck finding record of it. Edith Wealthy McKee Kenney was murdered in her home.
