I am looking for any descendents of Edwin Abbott, a brewer who in the 1860's owned Bow Brewery in London. He was born in Thanet, Kent in 1784 and his son Frederick Sedgwick Abbott emigrated to New Zealand in 1848. The latter founded the town of 'Abbotsford,(later Waipawa).Soon after 1870 he disappeared back to England for reasons unknown, and eventually died in Jersey where he is buried.
