Hello, would you happen to know who the parents of OLIVIER DAIGRE, born around 1643 in France could be? Supposedly he was a native of Poitou, France. He sailed from La Rochelle, France on the ship LA PAIX in 1663 to Acadia (Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia)when he was 20 years old. In 1666 he married MARIE GAUDET in Port Royal, Acadia (Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia,Canada). I would also be interested in finding out the exact place of his birth and if he had any brothers and sisters. I do know he was hired by Emmanuel Le Borgne du Cordroy to work for a period of three years in Acadia. I am a direct descendant from him and it is important to me that I find out this information.
