Query Text: |
I am trying to identify the parents and grandparents, etc for: Joseph(Josef Shafer) Shaefer b. Jan, 1822 Bavaria and his wife, Margaret (Steiblien) b. abt 1823 Bavaria. They immigrated to US May 1851 with their daughter, Caroline. They lived in Erie County, NY (Amherst and Clarence). Joseph was a mason and a farmer. They had 7 more children born in NY: Maria Anna (Daigler), twin boys Peter and Nicholas, Joseph, John, Katherine (Fritton) and Joseph. Margaret died between 1880 and 1900 and Joseph died sometime after 1900. He lived with his daughter, Maria Anna and her husband, Theodore Daigler in 1900. I believe that Alexandra Svoren, Maria Anna's grandaughter may have had some information regarding Joseph and Margaret. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
