Query Text:

I am searching for my birthmother Connie (Constance) and my birthfather James. I was born on December 26th, 1971 at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL. At the time of my birth, I was told that Connie was around 16 or 17 years old. I was also told James had been in the military, so he was at least 18 years old. My birthparents originally named my Pamela. I was placed into temporary care with Catholic Charities of Chicago from the hospital. My first family was Jerry and Luise Cameron of Mulford Ln in Niles, IL. That is near Touhy and Milwaukee. I know that my birthmother and father visited me while I was with the Camerons. When I was around 6 months old, the Camerons requested to have me placed in a different home, because I was not free to be adopted, and they were becoming attached. I was then placed with Barbara and John Byrne of Palos Park, IL for temporary care. John Byrne is an orthodontist. I was later adopted by Barbara and John Byrne. Connie and James saw me at that time too. Connie visited me at least once at their house. It was a large white frame house on a wooded lot up a long hill from the street. Connie and her father had contact with me and the rest of the Byrne family at least once. I am bi-racial and am 5'8" tall with short curly hair and brown eyes. Connie is white of Scandanavian origin, with blonde hair and at the time was very petite. James is a tall African American, who at the time wore a beard. I believe I have a younger male sibling from thier union. I grew up in Palos Park and now live in Crestwood, IL with my three children. Me and my children are yearning to have contact with either of my birthfamilies. I was told by my adoptive parents that although Connie had hoped to take me back, she was unable to and for whatever reason stopped contact. Her rights were then involuntarily terminated. My parents house is on 121st St. in Palos Park up on a hill. My parents told me they used to pick Connie up at the train station in LaGrange. I believe that my birth families and I have the right to know each other to whatever extent is comfortable for all of us. I hope to find one or both of them.
