WILLIAM TURNER, GEORGE WILLIAM TURNER & GEORGE SENECA TURNER of LIVONIA,LIVINGSTON Co., NEW YORK My name is Gary Naden and I am researching my Maternal Great-Great-Great Grand Father WILLIAM TURNER b:1790 in Connecticut, D: 1887 in LIVONIA,(HEMLOCK LAKE area) LIVINGSTON Co., NEW YORK. (William was a deacon in the Hemlock Lake Baptist Church in his later years up to his death). He was married to BETSEY SHARP-TURNER (B: 1790 in NEW YORK STATE, D: 1850 in LIVONIA, NEW YORK (He then married LUCINDA ROUSE (Abt. 1880) widow of JOHN ROUSE). WILLIAM & BETSEY's youngest son, GEORGE WILLIAM TURNER (my Gr. Gr. Gr. Grandfather was born in LIVONIA, LIVINGSTON Co., NEW YORK in NOVEMBER 1825. He married OLIVIA (OLIVE) MARSH (b: 07/01/1837 in Livonia, New York, D: 12/16/1879 in Litchfield, Michigan) in 1858 and he moved to LITCHFIELD, HILLSDALE COUNTY, MICHIGAN with his wife and infant son; GEORGE SENECA TURNER (my Gr. Gr. Grandfather) (b: 08/1859 in LIVONIA, NEW YORK). Their second son, FRANK GILBERT TURNER, was born 11/1869 IN PULASKI, JACKSON Co., MICHIGAN. (FRANK moved back to LAVONIA and Married MERTTIE COLE Abt. 1889. He remained in LIVONIA until his death in 1918.) OLIVIA (OLIVE) TURNER died in Litchfield, Michigan in 1869. George William, along with George Seneca and his family then moved the family to COGSWELL, (HARLEM TWP.) SARGENT COUNTY, NORTH DAKOTA around 1883 where the family resided (and where my Grandmother, ADDIE HARRIET TURNER-MINTZ was born in 1900) until around 1920 when GEORGE WILLIAM TURNER (Sr.) died. At that time, GEORGE SENECA and his wife HATTIE AGUSTA CASE-TURNER and their remaining children moved to LEAF RIVER, WADENA Co., MINNESOTA where GEORGE opened and ran a store.
