My Gr. grandfather,Thomas Hackett was born in Waterford County,Ireland in around 1870-1880. He immigrated to the US. Settled & proved a homestead in North Dakota as well as at Tyvan, Saskatchewan,Canada. He married Mary Pechacek . They had at least 4 children. John, Edward ,Mick and a baby girl. Both Thomas & Mary are buried at Jordan River,Saskatchewan. Mary died before 1950 or in 1950 and Thomas in 1953 -1954. My cousin Jean Anderson,Uncle John's daughter , Made many inquiries about our family. Apparently grandpa Tom came from a large family some of whom immigrated to places like Canada, the US and Australia. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
