I'm searching for information on my birth family. I just found out that my name given at birth was Christopher John Kelly, with my mother's maiden name Thomas. I am a male born in Inglewood, CA at the Centinela Hospital on May 6, 1978 at 11:32 PM. My birth mother had a very large family. Both of my parents were 17 and were Jrs in high school when they had me. They used Holy Family Adoption Services for my adoption. My birth mother was 17 in 1978, she's now 48. She was 5' 8" with fair skin, Brown hair and Brown eyes, she played Softball in high school and was Roman Catholic. Her decent was Irish, German, French, Scotch and her hobbies were sewing, softball, reading, swimming and out of doors. She was home schooled while she was pregnant. As a Jr she had an older sister, 20 y/o and in college; a brother, 18 y/o who was in the Army. A younger sister who was in the 10th grade 15 y/o, brother 13 y/o in the 8th grade and an infant sister who was 6 months old. Her father was in the carpendry business. My birth father was 6' 2", Brown hair and Brown eyes and medium skin tone. He was Roman Catholic and was of Irish, German, Russian decent. His hobbies were football, surfing, skiing and motocycles. His birth father's family was in the airline business. He only had two siblings that were 5 and 6 years older then him (ages 23 and 22) and were already married when he was a Jr in high school. My birth mother wanted to put me up for adoption, but my birth father disagreed, but eventually supported my birth mother. My birth father saw me when I was born in the nursury. I would really like to reunite with my birth father. My birth mother's family is very large and possibly could lead me to my birth father. I have a young son and would like him to know about my blood relatives. Any help would be greatly appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
