I am a decendent of John Smith Grantham, born Nov 16, 1828 and died May 4, 1901, from Middleway, Jefferson Co., WV. It was originally Originally Virginia before the civil war and I believe Berkley County. His wife was Lucy Ellen Sharff. His children were John Calhoun (my great grandfather who moved to Chicago, IL), James William, Anna Louisa, Shirley (male), Alice Cornelia, Hammond Ashby, Lucy Virginia and Rose Ellen. I believe his father was a John Grantham, so on and so forth.. I have alot of problems with all the John's. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
