Sherman Conrad - My grandmother was Edna Letitia Conrad, born to Josephine Marelda Stebelton and Sherman Conrad in 1898 or 1899 in Amanda, Fairfield County, Ohio. I am unable to find out any information on Sherman. His name is on my grandmothr's birth certificate as the father. Family stories are that Sherman's family was from Kansas or Missouri and he wanted Josephine to move there with him, but she did not get along with his family so Josephine and her very young daughter, Edna, stayed in Amanda, Ohio and never saw or heard from Sherman again. Sherman had a brother I think Charles who was a businessman in Lancaster, Ohio and I think he died in an auto crash there in early 1900's. Does anyone know anything about Sherman Conrad. I think he may have had a different first name with Sherman being his actual middle name. Not sure of that though. Thank you for any help! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
