I am Georgia O'Brien, great-granddaughter of a Catherine Eichenauer, born in 1895 in London and died 1954 in Liverpool, married to a Joseph Veideman in 1912. Her parents were Anna Habig (nee. Pensel) and Richard Eichenauer, both born in Germany. I am looking for Catherine's relatives, as she and her family spread out over time, a lot of them changing their surnames due to anti-German feeling during the world wars. I've confirmed some family moved back to Germany, to Gütersloh prior to 1914 and one may have moved to the USA. There is hearsay in the family that we're of Jewish origin, but I've never been able to confirm. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
