Alexander COOK was born in October in 1832 in Canada, died June 11, 1880 in Ticonderoga, NY. He married Sarah Ann BARTON (b. July 4, 1838 Plattsburgh, NY, d. April 25, 1922 La Mesa, CA). They had nine children. I am looking for Alexander COOK's parents/siblings, who by the 1880 US Census, were born in Canada. Sarah Ann BARTON was the daughter of Mary Elizabeth GIROUX (b. Oct. 15, 1808 St. Jacques-le-mineur, d. Jan. 1, 1909) and married Lewis BARTON (b. March 12, 1807, d. Jan. 4, 1892). They were married in Plattsburgh, NY (Clinton Co.) in about 1824.
