Looking for Connally family line from Ga. in 1800s. Lots of Toms and Johns and Williams...lost trail. My great-grandfather was William Thomas...son of James Thomas. William had a sister, Maude. Their mother was Sally Burns. William and Maude were born in Ga. William moved to SC where he died in 1936 (?). He married Martha Dickerson. I believe Maude married and Oliver. Or a Kerr. Not sure. James "Tom" was born in Ga., maybe around 1860. His 2nd wife was Celia McDonald. I can't get past him. Looking for father...mother...any siblings. I believe his father fought in Civil War. Maybe his grandfather.
