I am searching for information on the Louis P. Collins Family of Mcclennan County/ West( city)or Ross Area.Louis (BD 1816) Died 1860 He married Latitia Ann Slocum 1843/ Mississippi. Latitia (BD 1818) Died 1885. Both are buried at the Whiterock Cemetery/ Ross/ McClennan County,Texas. They settled in Texas prior to 1846 from Mississippi. Louis P.Collins is listed on the Republic of Texas Poll List of 1846; at that time he was in Dewitt County, Texas. Hopefully someone know of their life in the early days in Texas.Also would like to know of other decendants; I am a great grandaughter. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
