I,m almost 100 %positive it was in Little Rock Arkansas.May have been thru a church or state adoption.Moms first name may have been changed from Judy or Judith to Shirley or Virgina .Her maiden name was Harris.Married to Delaney.She may have changed last namer to:Hale,or Johnson,or Brown .Harris was her maiden name.She was from Memphis Tenn.Names involved: social worker Cammel Grand? ,Jean Mccann? Betty Collard. John was adopted at about six weeks old.A church may have been involved /a catholic church. His fathers name on birth certificate may be Phil elps or phelps or jim lepard not sure of any thing other than johns birth month and name ,mom was staying in ark on a farm not to far from memphis just before his birth.She had 2 kids patrick and micheal.Mom is blond so am i and so is Mike and other brothers.I,m not sure about Johns ,dad appearance.Mom said adoption was in a priest office. Mom was told she could not keep all 3 of us and that she had nothing and was a disgrace to the family because she had left her husband and now had a 3rd child and no support and that it would be best in 1960 memphis to give up John, so he could have a bettert life than we did.I am his older brother my name is Patrick Delaney I have just found this out and am searching for him I do not even know if i,m spelling his middle name right. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
