Can anyone ever be able to know identity of John SCOFIELD's parentage as well as his 2 brothers, as he was one of 3 brothers who had come from New York and settled on the spot where Cincinnati stands now perhaps in 1780's or 1790's when there were only 7 families already settled there. Then, to have settled in Madison Co., Indiana and built their first house. Later John moved down to Kentucky by early 1800's and settled in Franklin County. He married Elizabeth BUTLER in Mercer County, KY. His two brothers may have been Jonathan and Isaac. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
