Looking for a long forgotten coal town in southeast Iowa named Bear Creek. My wife's mother was born there in 1912 and we are trying to locate where it was. Her parents were Frank Elmer Brown and Maude Elizabeth Huxford. We think it was somewhere in Davis County.
