IN search of biological siblings or family members, or anyone who knows them. I am an adoptee who was born Feb 16th 1949 in Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC. I was known as Jacqueline, and remained in the hospital for a month before I was adopted. My biological father was a lawyer, and a member of the SC General Assembly from 1938 until 1949. His name was Jack Nathans. He was about 6 feet tall with curly brown hair and blue eyes. ( My middle daughter looks just like him.) He also volunteered as a life guard on Folly Beach during the 40's and was well known for his good physique. He died in 1968. He had a daughter, Gwendolyn Windham, from Lamar, SC. He also has a son also named Jack Nathans who lives on James Island. I do not have any information about my biological mother except that she had golden blond hair, blue eyes, and was not originally from Charleston. She had two brothers, and her father worked on the railroad. She worked in a drugstore at the time of my birth. My adoption was arranged by the SC DSS.
