Julia Agnes Filer born about 1840 in Racine County, Wisconsin and died 1912; she was the second wife of a cousin, Eliha Golden Filer, who was born 1840 in Jefferson County, New York, (Delos L. Filer, father of E. Golden, having been born of Scotch parents in Herkimer county, New York), and died 1920, both buried Oak Grove Cemetery, Manistee, Manistee County, Michigan – married December 23, 1865 in Racine, Wisconsin. I am interested in the parents of Julia Filer: Alanson Filer born March 10, 1812 Paines Hollow, Herkimer County, New York and he died December 19, 1911 in Evanston, Cook County, Illinois was buried Racine, Racine County, Wisconsin on December 21, 1911 - and Mrs. Maria (Hannah) Pilkington (Green) was born in 1810 in probably Bantry, of County Cork of Ireland and died July 7, 1888 in Racine, Wisconsin. I am having problems finding her parents - supposedly Miss Kingston married Mr. Pilkington. Maria Pilkington claimed to have come to America in 1817 when she was age 8 - she and her family then stayed with relative (brother of her mother) Paul Kingston in St. Clair County, Illinois for a while. Paul Kingston is my direct line. Any help with this family would be appreciated. Thank you, lindajcox3@hotmail.com | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
