Alan James Hawkins Brown was my father (deceased) and he lived in New Zealand. His grandmother was a direct descendant of Sir John Hawkins. His family arrived in NZ from Great Britain between 1850 and 1860, I believe. Any information regarding his ancestry and family would be greatfully received.
