I am seeking information on the Congleton family in California. John E. (born 1816 in New York state) and wife Almira Almy arrived in California in 1852 or 1853. They had a total of 11 children, some of whom died young. John died in 1863 in Petaluma, CA. Their son, George Washington Congleton, married my great grandmother Agnes Call.
